This is an outstanding book, especially for the beginner fly fisherman. It provides a detailed introduction to fly fishing, starting with the very basics. And there are many great color images and diagrams to illustrate every point or technique. Definitely recommended (also for the pros)!

Fly Fishing eBooks has made this charming and informative book circa 1910 on the state of Yellowstone Park at the start of the 20th century available for free in electronic format.

Klahowya writes about his experiences of dry fly fishing in the park. The details are very interesting to read about and some of his stories are very funny. He gives fly fishing tips and writes in great detail about how the trout found today in the park had to be planted by our government because the park was virtually devoid of fish a hundred years ago.
